Nelson Hobby has been in the hobby industry business for almost two decades. Previously owned by Jerry Nelson, the business is now owned and operated by John Desilets. John is a retired military and government employee. He is an active modeler whose interest is in R/C (Radio Controlled) large scale models both of the power type and sailplanes. John is very talented in scale type details and is an excellent craftsman.

We wish Jerry well as he plans to write more articles for Fly RC Magazine and continue his scale R/C model projects.

Over several years, he has used all of Nelson Hobby products, and now John is the new owner! The company names of Nelson Aircraft, Nelson Hobby, and Nelson Hobby Direct will be maintained. All of the same product names will be used. A shopping cart will be available for secure online purchases.
